The characters will help you in the game, but all actions and decisions are made only by you.
The main mechanics of the game are fighting monsters, selling loot, buying new equipment and leveling up. When you reach a certain level, you will have to fight with the lord of the location. After defeating him, a portal will open to the next location with new quests, monsters and challenges.
