Updates and Info #3 (Price Changes, Life Updates, Etc!)
Posted 2 years agoHello again cuties! I’m a little early this year with my updates, but it’s for a good reason. If all goes as planned, I’m going to be moving out of my current living situation, and in with my fiancee near the end of March. My current living arrangement is unpleasant, as an understatement, but financially cheap, which is why I’ve held out so long here. I live with a parent, who, to phrase it politely, does not treat me with respect. When I requested that they use the correct pronouns and name for me recently, tensions reached a head and I was pushed to leave.
I think all of this will probably be for the best, and at this point I’m starting to feel optimistic, but my living costs will also be going up dramatically. So! I’ve got a bit more of a price hike this year, and I’m pushing the price sheets and updates out a bit earlier, so hopefully the actual changes hit in Spring this year, instead of a few months later once my queue turns through.
As always, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to each and every one of you. My hella sweet friends, lovely commissioners, and all of you cuties who favorite and follow my work: Thank you. Without you, I’d be in a much tighter spot than I am today, and I’m looking forward to carrying on my life in a happier, healthier environment.
In terms of updates:
- I am raising my Flat Price commission prices again. All base prices (for single pieces and reference sheets) have gone up by +$10, and some extras (extra characters, poses) have increased by +$5. Price changes will not affect customers currently in the queue, or waitlist, but you are always free to choose to pay the newer prices; it would help me out a lot.
- This was announced a while ago for a different purpose, but I’ve got a Ko-Fi page! If you’d like to support what I do, or even just lend a paw with upcoming moving costs, you’re totally welcome to do so there, and I would be beyond grateful.
I am going to be saving up for a vehicle so I’ll have transportation of my own, once I’m moved, so anything left over from moving will be going toward that, too.
I think that’s about that for this year; it’s been a crazy year, but I’m looking forward to seeing what 2023 has in store for me, as well as all the cuties I'll get to draw. And once again, thank you, a million times over, to all of you for supporting me, working with me, and allowing me to do what I love.

Updates and Info #2 (Price Changes, Gratefulness, Etc!)
Posted 3 years agoHello again! It’s been a year, to the day, since my last journal. In that year, I’ve been living out my wildest day-to-day dreams. I wake up every morning, I water my plants, and then I sit down at the computer to work on what I love doing most in the world. I can draw, and get paid, and eventually, with some time and patience, I’ll be able to survive on my own with that money.
Every day I get a bit closer to that goal, and it’s thanks to all of you cuties. Each and every one of you: My watchers, the folks who favorite my posts, the cuties who comment, and especially all of you who commission me. I cannot put it into words how very, very grateful I am to each and every one of you who works with me on commissions, helps me give life and color to YCHs, and gives homes to my precious lil adopts. But I'll try my best: Thank you. A hundred times over.
In terms of updates:
- I am raising my Flat Price commission prices again. Just like last year, it’s going to be a 5 dollar increase across the board. Background prices are now slightly more variable (but will likely stay low as they always have, and maintain their $5 starting price) and I’ve added reference sheets as a commission type. Price changes will not affect commissioners currently in the queue, nor the waitlist.
- I made a RedBubble account! I don’t have many designs yet, but I definitely have more planned.
That’s all I really have to report in terms of changes this year! Everything’s stable and going beautifully. Once again, from the bottom of my sheepy heart, thank you.

Updates and Info (Changes, New Twitter, Etc!)
Posted 4 years agoHello all! First time writing a journal here on FA, but now seems as good a time as any.
In shorthand: I graduated from college about a year ago, and job hunting hasn't gone as well as expected. I realized I have work right here where I always have, so I'm putting myself wholeheartedly into this and trying to make it work as a form of income. There's a slightly longer, mushier version of this on my twitter, linked down below.
To do my utmost to make this work, I've made a few tweaks to how I handle things:
- I've been putting out more adopts and YCH, which means I owe you all a big thank you for putting up with the reminders! I really do appreciate it.
- I made a TOS! It's a little short now, but a lot longer and more clear than my, "please don't edit, please don't watermark" blurb at the bottom of most of my commission pages.
- I bumped my flat price commissions up by 5 dollars. That doesn't springboard me from hobby money to a living wage, but I want to make sure that my prices stay level with my art quality, and that's a start.
- I made a brand new shiny Art Twitter! This one will be much more focused than the one I've had listed on my profile for a while, which was a mix of personal content and art. This new one will have the same YCH, Adopts, and commissions that you see here, just posted on a slightly different schedule. I may also use it to advertise commission openings, depending on how things go.
I think that covers most of the changes I've made. Thank you all, again, for bearing with me as I get things figured out and get my sheepy butt in gear. I've spent the last year frozen up like a deer in the headlights, and in finally deciding what I'm doing with myself, I feel better than I have in a long time.
